A volunteer position can be a great way to get on the job skills training. It is also a great way to minister to our pastoral staff and to this church family.
Office Volunteers are crucial to a smooth running office as we assist the pastoral staff with needs as they arise. Anytime we can relieve some of the load by taking care of printing, copying, collating materials, or making calls we are saving the pastoral staff time and ministering to them in a special way by releasing them to do the real work God has called them to do.
Weekly duties include such things as printing, errands, making calls, and special projects:
- Sort & file music
- Attendance/keep records updated
- Copying/folding/cutting
- Visitor letters/contact by phone
- Collating/Newsletter
- Pews (cards & pencils)
- Bulk Mailers/constant detail work
- Church Directory
the list goes on & on...with many special projects that can be yours each week as you learn the procedures of the office. A volunteer arrives at a set time and if they cannot be there they phone ahead to let the staff know they are unable to make it. Time slots available might be one hour at lunch to cover phones or two hours, a morning, or afternoon. Anytime that fits your schedule. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Even if you believe you have no skills in this area but would like to give it a try...please give the office a call. We would love to assist you in developing a ministry within the church family. There are big things, small things, always something to do. We will not overwhelm or overload you. It is great fun to work together for the glory for Jesus.

Media Technology
The worship department is building up our media and technology teams and we need you!
We are hoping to utilize a team of four people each Sunday. Specific positions would include floor directors who will coordinate the media during the service to power point operators, camera men and lighting technicians. We are also interested in those who are creating their own video or slide show presentations. Training will be on-going so a person can jump in and get involved at any time. It's a great way to use your interests and talents to serve the kingdom!
