The purpose of the Corvallis Church of the Nazarene is to turn all people into passionate followers of Christ. In following suit, the purpose of the Corvallis Church of the Nazarene Worship Team is to turn all people into passionate worshipers of Christ.
In Reaching This Goal We Will:
Strive to have the heart of a worshiper (John 4:23-24)
Model worship to others around us whether on the platform or in the congregation.
Support the leadership that God had placed at the Corvallis Church of the Nazarene. (Hebrews 13:17)
Strive to Teach the church body how to better worship the Lord and bring people to a deeper revelation of Christ by promoting an atmosphere where the Father can minister. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
Build others up and foster an attitude that encourages, comforts, and exhorts one another in the faith. (Hebrews 10:24; Philippians 2:1-3)
Be willing to work at becoming more proficient with the talent God has given us. (Psalms 33:3)
Above all, strive to lead a holy life worthy of the calling of God. (2Thes. 1:11)
